Club information

AVB stands for Ad Vitam Badmiton which means “badminton for life”. It is an informal club started July 4th 2020. It's a club of enthusiastic, mainly (former-) league players from the region Arnhem and the surrounding area who wants to play at competitive level. Sportsmanship, vitality and fun are highy valuated. AVB facilitate to play games without a suspension system and the opportunity to play a full match. Members are free to invite guests without any obligation to become a member. AVB plays throughout the whole year at low as possible costs.

Membership

The fees can be found on this website, under the button "Lidmaatschap". Our membership fee is amongst the most competitive with 2,5 hours of court time a week. People are also allowed to play with a GelrePas or Sportkaart. Membership is paid annually at the beginning of the calender year (or at the start of the membership).
 

One can also play as a visitor. The current fee is €4,50 per visit. Visits should be pre-arranged as we may not be able to accomodate visitors at all times.

When and where

We welcome any player of a decent standard. But don't be afraid, we definitely also accept players of somewhat lower level than the pictured players from above. We meet on every Saturday afternoon from 15.00 – 17.30 and Wednesday evening from 20.30 - 22.00. The venues can be found on the page Clubinfo/Accommodaties.
